A WORD FROM ME 10
Even as the summer is coming to an end, things seem to be brighter fro
me.
In this issue, I uploaded a full-length article on translating stories
specifically for audience from other cultures. I am thrilled to mention that
this article has been published on the prestigious ICFAI Journal of
English Studies, Hyderabad, June 2009 issue.
The article summarizes my experience with translations in the past eight
years. Additionally, it provides an exhaustive guidelines regarding what I
expect from your submissions to thulika.net for consideration.
Your input in this regard is appreciated.
Another exciting announcement. The Telugu University, Hyderabad and
Sahitya Akademi, Bangalore, have informed me two of my books which
they have accepted for publication are being prepared to release in
August 09. More info soon.
Second upload is a poem by a well-known poet from Andhra Pradesh,
Seela Subhadra Devi.
