The book, Life: Musings by Saipadma Murthy, reflects the author's remarkable belief in human spirit and her perception of the
complexities of life. Whether it is about a fine lady one or two generations ahead of her times or an imaginary friend on the
distant horizon, her poetry flows from the heart. The author questions our practices of empty words, listens to the murmurs of
silence and the melody of life with equal fervor while losing herself in a maze of clueless questions.
Enveloped in the seriousness of potent questions on life, she can also be sarcastic, take a punch and raise seemingly
meaningless questions--all at the same time. The poems draw us into her world and force us to see the world from the
other
side.
